Outside Play

Port Regis Montessori is set in 17 acres of private wood and grassland.  Children go on regular woodland walks where they can explore nature.  The nursery farm is also a great attraction; children enjoy watching the pigs, ducks, chickens, rabbits and guinea pigs.

Babies visit the outdoors twice a day and can go on walks in the woods, watch the older children, visit the farm and play on the grass.

There is also lots of outside play equipment such as a tower with slide and climbing wall.  Play houses, trikes, bikes and ball games.

The nursery planting area is a fun way for children to explore the joys of gardening and growing their own plants and vegetables.

Every age group is taken outside twice a day.
